Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Forty-first Year of the Republic of India, as follows:- 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Telugu University (Amendment) Act, 1990. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 5th February, 1990. 2. Amendment Of Section 9 :- In the Telugu University Act, 1985(Act. 27 of 1985), in section 9 in sub-section (1), for the words "Chief Minister", the word "Governor" shall be substituted. 3. Repeal Of Ordinance 2 Of 1990 :- The Telugu University (Amendment) Ordinance, 1990 is hereby repealed.
