Repeal And Savings Tripura Tea Companies (Taking Over Of Management Of Certain Tea Units) (Amendment) Act, 2003 AN ACT to amend the Tripura Tea Companies (Taking over Management of certain Tea Units) Act, 1986. Be it enacted by the Tripura Legislative Assembly in the forty ninth year of the Republic of India as follows : 1. Short Title, Extent And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Tripura Tea Companies (Taking over of Management of certain Tea Units) (Amendment) Act, 1998. (2) It shall deem to have come into force on and from the tenth day of November, 1993. 2. Amendment Of Section 3 :- In proviso to sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Tripura Tea Companies (Taking over of Management of certain Tea Units) Act, 1986, for the words "Two years", the words "Five years" shall be substituted. 3. Repeal And Savings :- (1) The Tripura Tea Companies (Taking over of Management of certain Tea Units)(Amendment) Ordinance, 1996 is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal any thing done, any order issued or passed, any action taken under the said Ordinance, shall be deemed respectively to have been done, issued, passed or taken under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
