Amendment of section 8 University Of Horticultural Sciences (Amendment) Act, 2015 24 OF 2015 An Act further to amend the University of Horticultural Sciences Act, 2009. Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the University of Horticultural Sciences Act, 2009 (Karnataka Act 11 of 2010) for the purposes hereinafter appearing; Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the University of Horticultural Sciences (Amendment) Act, 2015. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 8 :- In the University of Horticultural Sciences Act, 2009 (Karnataka Act 11 of 2010), in section 8, in sub-section (10), for the words and figures "consisting of 60 hectares", the figures and words "consisting of 125 acres" shall be substituted.
