Repeal Uttar Pradesh Road Transport Schemes (Validation) Act, 1990 21 of 1990 An Act to validate preparation and publication of certain road transport schemes It is hereby enacted in the Forty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows-- 1. Received the assent of the Governor on July 25, 1990 and published in the U. P. Gazette, Extra., Part I, Section (ka), dated 25th July, 1990. 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Road Transport Schemes (Validation) Act, 1990. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on May 26, 1990. 2. Validation Of Preparation And Publication Of Certain Schemes :- Where any scheme had been prepared or published under Section 68-C of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 by the General Manager or the Managing Director of the State Transport Undertaking before the repeal of the said Act, the scheme shall be deemed to have been prepared or published by the State Transport Undertaking and such scheme shall not be deemed to be illegal or void or ever to have become illegal or void merely on the ground that the same had been prepared or published by the General Manager or the Managing Director of such undertaking. 3. Repeal :- The Uttar Pradesh Road Transport Schemes (Validation) Ordinance, 1990 (U. P. Ordinance No. 13 of 1990), is hereby repealed.
