Received the assent of the Governor on January 10, 2000 and published in the U.P. Gazette, Extra., Part 1, Section (Ka), dated 13th January, 2000, p. 2 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Women (Repeal) Act, 2000. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on December 9, 1999. 2. Repeal Of U.P. Act No. 19 Of 1999 :- The Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Women Act, 1999 is hereby repealed. 3. Repeal :- The Uttar Pradesh State Commission for Women (Repeal) Ordinance, 1999 (U.P. Ordinance No. 25 of 1999) is hereby repealed.
