Received the assent of the Governor on May 23, 2006 and published in the U.P. Gazette, Extra., Part 1, Section (Ka), dated 24th May, 2006, pp. 2-3 1. Short Title And Commencement :- (1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (Amendment) Act, 2006. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on February 23, 2006. 2. Amendment Of Section 9 Of U.P. Act No. 1 Of 2006 :- In Section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission Act, 2006 in sub-section (1) and in the proviso thereof for the words "five years" the words "six years" shall be substituted.
