Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1966 8 of 1966 [29 March 1966] PREAMBLE An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sum from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967. Whereas it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967; It is hereby enacted in the Seventeenth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, Part IV A of the 23rd March, 1966, page 1053; for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, see the proceedings of the meetings of that Assembly held on 25th March, 1966. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1966. 2. Issue of Rs. 4,79,48,45,000 out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the year 1966-67 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees four hundred and seventy-nine crores, forty-eight lakhs and forty- five thousand towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty- first day of March, 1967, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967.
