Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1969 1 of 1969 [24 March 1969] PREAMBLE An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1969. Whereas it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1969; It is hereby enacted in the Twentieth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, Part IV A of the 14th March, 1969, page 992; for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, see the proceedings of the meeting of that Assembly held on the 15th March, 1969. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation Act, 1969. 2. Issue of Rupees 1,18,83,47,307 out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the year 1968-69 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees one hundred and eighteen crores, eighty-three lakhs, forty-seven thousand and three hundred and seven towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1969, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1969.
