Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE West Bengal Appropriation (Excess Expenditure, 1950-51) Act, 1955 25 of 1955 [27 September 1955] PREAMBLE An Act to regularise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services of the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1951. It is hereby enacted in the Sixth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. For the Statement of Objects and Reasons, see the Calcutta Gazette. Extraordinary, dated the 18th August, 1955, Ft. IVA, page 1248; for the proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, see the proceedings of the meeting of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly held on the 18th August, 1955; and for the proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Council, see the proceedings of the meeting of the West Bengal Legislative Council held on the 31st August, 1955. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Excess Expenditure, 1950-51) Act, 1955. 2. Issue of Rs. 18,71,19,461 out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services of the year 1950-51 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees eighteen crores, seventy-one lakhs, nineteen thousand, four hundred and sixty-one, are authorized for payment and application towards defraying the several charges which were incurred during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1951, in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the Schedule and were in excess of the amount granted for the services of that year. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorized for payment and application from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be deemed to have been appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule, in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1951.
