Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE I SCHEDULE 2 :- SCHEDULE II West Bengal Appropriation (Excess Expenditure, 1959-60 And 1960-61) Act, 1964 15 of 1964 [26 October 1964] PREAMBLE An Act to regularise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, I960 and the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1961. It is hereby enacted in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 2nd September, 1964, Part 1VA, page 2790; for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, see the proceedings of the meeting of that Assembly held on the 3rd September, 1964; and for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Council, see the proceedings of the meeting of that Council held on the 9th September, 1964. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Excess Expenditure, 1959-60 and 1960-61) Act, 1964. 2. Issue of Rs. 3,34,13,296 and Rs. 1,28,60,914 out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal respectively for the services and purposes of the year 1959-60 and the year 1960-61 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal,- (1) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule I amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees three crores, thirty-four lakhs, thirteen thousand, two hundred and ninety-six, and (2) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule II amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees one crore, twenty-eight lakhs, sixty thousand, nine hundred and fourteen, are authorised for payment and application towards defraying the several charges which were inccurred during- (i) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1960, and (ii) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1961, respectively, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of each such Schedule and which were in excess of the amounts granted for the services and purposes of the respective year. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised for payment and application from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be deemed to have been respectively appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in Schedules I and II in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1960 and the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1961.
