I t is hereby enacted in the Twenty-sixth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see the Calcutta Gazette. Extraordinary. Part IV, of the 30th April, 1975. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (Excess Expenditure, 1963-64, 1964-65, 1965-66, 1966-67 and 1967-68) Act, 1975. 2. Issue of Rs. 5,41,80,754, Rs. 14,53,63474. Rs. 4,40,89,160. Rs. 2,60,43,783 and Rs. 1,63.05.281 out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal respectively for the services and purposes of the year 1963-64, the year 1964- 65. the year 1965-66. the year 1966-67 and the year 1967- 68 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal,- (1) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule I amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees five crores, forty- one lakhs, eighty thousand, seven hundred and fifty-four, (2) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule II amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees fourteen crores, fifty-three lakhs, sixty-three thousand, four hundred and seventy- four, (3) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule III amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees four crores, forty lakhs, eighty-nine thousand, one hundred and sixty, (4) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule IV amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees two crores, sixty lakhs, forty-three thousand, seven hundred and eighty-three, and (5) sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of Schedule V amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees one crore, sixty- three lakhs, five thousand, two hundred and eighty-one, are authorised for payment and application towards defraying the several charges which were incurred during- (i) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1964, (ii) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1965, (iii) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1966, (iv) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1967, and (v) the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1968, respectively, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of each such Schedule and which were in excess of the amounts granted for the services and purposes of the respective year. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised for payment and application from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be deemed to have been respectively appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in Schedules I, II, III, IV and V in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1964, the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1965, the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1966, the year ending on the thirty- first day of March, 1967 and the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1968.
