Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1951 11 of 1951 [31 March 1951] PREAMBLE An Act to authorise payment and appropriation, of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal to the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1951. Whereas it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal to the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1951; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 1. For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 26th March, 1951, Part IV, page 635; for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative' Assembly, see the Proceedings of the meeting of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, held on the 28th March, 1951. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1951. 2. Issue of Rs.2,40, 36,000 out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the year 1950-51 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of Rupees two crores forty lakhs and thirty-six thousand towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1951, in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1951.
