Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1952 16 of 1952 [26 August 1952] PREAMBLE An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal to the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1953. Whereas it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal to the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1953; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 1 For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 2nd August, 1952, Pt. Short title :- This Act may be called the Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1952. 2. Issue of Rs. 44,61,97,900 out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the year 1952-53, in addition to the sum already authorised to be withdrawn for that year :- In addition to the sum of thirty-one crores, four lakhs, five thousand, one hundred and one rupees authorised to be withdrawn and appropriated under the West Bengal Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 1952,(West Ben. Act II of 1952.) there may be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees forty-four crores, sixty-one lakh, ninety-seven thousand and nine hundred towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1953, in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1953.
