Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1955 08 of 1955 [31 March 1955] PREAMBLE An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1955. Whereas it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1955; It is hereby enacted in the Sixth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. IVA, page 473; for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, see the proceedings of the meeting of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly held on the 30th March, 1955; and for the proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Council, see the proceedings of the meeting of the West Bengal Legislative Council held on the 31st March, 1955. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1955. 2. Issue of Rs. 8,84,42,40 out of the Consoli dated Fund of West Bengal for the year 1954-55 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees eight crores, eighty-four lakhs, forty-two thousand, four hundred and one towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1955, in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1955.
