Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1956 09 of 1956 [29 March 1956] PREAMBLE An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1956. Whereas it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1956; It is hereby enacted in the Seventh Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. For the Statement of Objects and Reasons, see the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 24th March, 1956, Part IVA, page 491; for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, see the proceedings of the meeting of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly held on the 27th March, 1956; and for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Council, see the proceedings of the meeting of the West Bengal Legislative Council held on the 28th March, 1956. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1956. 2. Issue of Rupees 11,29,26,000 out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the year 1955-56 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal, there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees eleven crores, twenty-nine lakhs and twenty-six thousand towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1956, in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1956.
