Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1963 11 of 1963 [30 March 1963] PREAMBLE An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1963. Whereas it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1963; I t is hereby enacted in the Fourteenth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, of the 26th March, 1963, Part IVA, page 586(d); for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, see the proceedings of the meeting of that Assembly held on the 28th March, 1963; and for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Council, see the proceedings of the meeting of that Council held on the 29th March, 1963. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1963. 2. Issue of Rupees 6,72,81,567 out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the year 1962-63 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees six crores, seventy-two lakhs, eighty-one thousand and five hundred and sixty-seven towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1963, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1963.
