Appropriation SCHEDULE 1 :- SCHEDULE West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1974 13 of 1974 [30 March 1974] PREAMBLE An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1974. Whereas it is expedient to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the services and purposes of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1974; I t is hereby enacted in the Twenty-fifth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see the Calcutta Gazette, Extraordinary, Part IV, of the 28th March, 1974, page 664; for proceedings of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, see the proceedings of the meeting of that Assembly held on the 29th March, 1974. 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Appropriation (No. 2) Act, 1974. 2. Issue of Rs. 2,33,8037,911 out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal for the year 1973-1974 :- From and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees two hundred thirty-three crores eighty lakhs thirty-seven thousand nine hundred and eleven towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1974, in respect of the services and purposes specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3. Appropriation :- The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of West Bengal by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, 1974.
