Whereas it is expedient to repeal the West Bengal Fire Services (Maintenance of Discipline) Act, 1974 (West Ben. Act XLIII of 1974); It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-ninth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Fire Services (Maintenance of Discipline) Repealing Act, 1978. 2. Repeal of West Ben. Act XLIII of 1974 :- The West Bengal Fire Services (Maintenance of Discipline) Act, 1974 is hereby repealed.
