Whereas it is expedient to repeal the Bengal Settled Estates Act, 1904 (Ben. Act III of 1904.); It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:- 1. Short title :- This Act may be called the West Bengal Settled Estates (Repealing) Act, 1973. 2. Repeal of Ben. Act III of 1904 :- The Bengal Settled Estates Act, 1904, is hereby repealed.
