After hearing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner, in view of the judgment of Hon’ble Apex Court in Criminal Appeal

No.722 of 2017, titled as Hira Singh Vs. Union of India, decided on 22.04.2020, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to move

afresh, in accordance with law, if so required. Leave and liberty, as prayed for, is granted. Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, so

also pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.

The parties shall not insist upon for obtaining certified copy of this order and shall download the same from the website of the High Court. However,
