1. The limited prayer that petitioner has made is for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to respondents to consider the representation which

the petitioner has made so far as his claim for promotion to the post of Senior Co-operative Inspector is concerned.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that his representation Annexure P-8 is pending consideration for quite some time before the authorities.

Therefore, appropriate direction be issued for deciding the said representation.

3. To the said limited prayer of the petitioner, respondent State do not have any objection.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondent No. 2 to consider the representation which the petitioner has made

vide Annexure P-8 at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of

the petitioner to apprise respondent No. 2 so far as order passed by this Court is concerned.

5. It is expected that respondents would be passing a reasoned order considering the contentions which the petitioner has raised in his representation.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

6. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off.
