This case has been taken up through Video Conferencing via Webex facility in the light of Pandemic Covid-19 situation and as per instructions.

Main case

Petitioners are serving on different technical posts and in different trades under the Printing and Stationery Department, State of Punjab.

Instant writ petition was filed assailing the order dated 07.12.2012 (Annexure P-1) as also subsequent orders whereby benefits of promotion,

placement in the higher scale as well as benefit under the Assured Career Progression Scheme were withheld.

Mr.Pritam Saini, Advocate representing the petitioners makes a categoric submission at the bar that he has instructions from the petitioners not to

pursue the instant writ petition.
