1. The petitioners have filed the instant writ petition seeking for an appropriate direction to respondents no. 2 & 4 to take appropriate decision on the
claim of the petitioners for being appointed as an Atithi Shikshak as per the order of the State Government dated 2.8.2019 passed by the School
Education Department.
2. Contention of the counsel for the petitioners is that the petitioners were Teacher working as Vidya Mitan for the academic session 2017-18 and
2018-19 and thereafter the services of the petitioners have been discontinued.
3. The School Education Department vide its order dated 2.8.2019 has passed an order the relevant portion of which so far as the petitioners is
concerned reads as under:

4. According to the counsel for the petitioners, in terms of the aforesaid order, the claim of the petitioners ought to have been considered by the
authorities concerned and there is also a recommendation made in this regard by the concerned school where the petitioners were teaching.
5. Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the present writ petition is disposed of
with a direction to respondents no. 2 & 4 to consider and decide the claim of the petitioners in terms of the order dated 2.8.2019 passed by the School
Education Department, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioners to apprise the concerned respondents so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.
7. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of.
