1. Heard.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner who is working as Assistant Program Coordinator, Samagra Shiksha, District Office Sukma,

District Sukma has been transferred by order dated 22.08.2019 to Government Middle School, Ramaram, Block and District Sukma.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is aged about 60 years and is at the verge of retirement and is suffering from the

cardiac disease, therefore, the transfer order may be canceled.

4. Per contra, learned State counsel opposes the arguments and submits that the transferred place is at the distance of 10 kms only.

5. Considering the given facts, the transfer has been made in the same district and the same block and the State counsel has submitted that the

transferred place is at the distance of 10 kms only, I do not find any valid reason to interfere with the transfer order. However, so far as the ailment of

the petitioner is concerned and also taking into the fact that the petitioner is at the fag end of the service, the petitioner is given a liberty to make

suitable representation before the respondent No.2 within a period of three weeks from today and the respondent No.2 shall decide the same within a

further period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the representation.

6. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
