1. The limited prayer which the petitioner has prayed in this petition is for issuance of a direction to the respondent No.3 to take an early decision on

the letter issued by the respondent No.2.

2. The Husband of the petitioner died in harness on 28.11.2016 and the petitioner moved an application for compassionate appointment which the

respondent No.2 has considered and also have taken a decision for grant of compassionate appointment to the petitioner vide letter dated 26.07.2018

(Annexure P/1), however, no formal order of appointment till date has been issued inspite of respondent No.2 having given an intimation in this regard

to the respondent No.3.

3. Given the said limited prayer and taking note of the contents of Annexure P/1 dated 26.07.2018, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice

would serve if a direction is given to the respondent No.3 to take a decision on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment in the light of

the order issued by the respondent No.2 dated 26.07.2018 at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of certified

copy of this order.

4. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of.
