1. Challenge in the present writ petition is the continuity of the departmental enquiry against the petitioner.

2. Challenge was on the ground that the complainant herself subsequently has moved an application for withdrawing of the complaint and she has

given an affidavit in this regard.

3. Be that as it may, once when the charge sheet has been issued to the petitioner and an Inquiry Officer has also been appointed, it is incumbent upon

the department to reach a logical conclusion on the charge sheet and the enquiry conducted.

4. Given the said fact, let the authorities concerned proceed further with the departmental enquiry by recording the statement of the complainant at the

earliest and thereafter take an early decision on the departmental enquiry. It is expected that the authorities concerned shall proceed further and

decide the case at the earliest.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of.
