Judgement

1. Heard.

2. Shri Surfaraj Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner would demonstrate extreme urgency in the matter due to which the petitioner is compelled to

prefer the instant writ petition.

3. Under Section 13 of the Chhattisgarh Rent Control Act, 2011 the order under challenge is appealable before the Supreme court. However, the

appellant would demonstrate lack of resources for immediately moving the Supreme Court. It is also highlighted that due to ensuing summer vacation,

there may be some difficulty in getting the matter listed, therefore, some breathing period may be allowed to the petitioner.

4. Considering the submission, the writ petition is disposed of with observation that for a period of 6 weeks from today, the order of eviction shall

remain in abeyance.

5. It is made clear that this order shall not be construed to be an opinion on the merits of the case neither it would be permissible for the petitioner to

claim equity on the basis of this interim order.
