1. This hearing has been done through hybrid mode.

2. These matters relate to domain names being registered by unknown third parties infringing trademark right of various brand owners and implementation of court orders by the Domain Name Registrars (‘DNR’). From time to time, various directions have been passed by this Court in respect of blocking and locking of the infringing domain names, and implementation of court orders by various DNRs which may or may not be located in India.

3. Mr. Darpan Wadhwa, ld. Sr. Counsel appearing for GoDaddy has made further submissions on the legal position qua steps that could be taken on the in respect of DNRs who do not comply with the orders passed by this Court. Ld. Counsels for the Plaintiffs have also addressed the Court on the same.

4. Insofar as Delhi Police Cyber Cell is concerned, let a final status report in respect of all these cases be filed by Ms. Sethi, ld. ASC. Written submissions in respect of the challenges faced by the Delhi Police while dealing with illegalities committed on the internet such as in the present cases shall also be filed by Ms. Sethi, ld. ASC.

6. List for further hearing of these cases on 27th September, 2023 at 2:30 pm.

7. I.A. 14925/2022 is an application for exemption. Allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Application is disposed of.

8. I.A. 14924/2022 is an application for condonation delay of two days in filing compliance affidavit. For the reasons stated in the application, the delay is condoned. The application is disposed of.

9. Ld. counsel appearing for Defendant No. 24 submits that he has been served with the copy of the suit papers. He wishes to file written statement. The same shall be done in terms of the timelines prescribed.
