1. Learned counsel representing the appellant â€" Insurance company, submits that the order dated 17.11.2021 passed by this Court, has been
complied with and the entire amount along with the interest has been paid. She forwards a copy of the e-mail received by her from her client.
2. The claimants have accepted the aforesaid quantum.
3. Thus, the award dated 22.02.2016 passed by the Presiding Officer, Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (MACT), Hazaribagh in Claim Case No.514
of 2010, stands modified, only to the extent that the amount which the Insurance Company is liable to pay is Rs.16,42,472/- along with interest @ 6%
i.e. the amount which has already been paid. The award stands modified.
4. The statutory amount which has been deposited, should be withdrawn by the appellant â€" Insurance Company.
5. Accordingly, this Miscellaneous Appeal stands partly allowed.
