1. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 4 and 5 to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property, owned by the petitioners, which is morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on their representation dated 21.04.2025.
2.Since the said representation was not considered till date, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
3.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents 4 and 5 if they are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioners’ property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party as they deem fit. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:-
(a)Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents 4 and 5 are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice.
(b)After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents 4 and 5 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully descried in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
No costs.
