1. This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for extendding parole for a period of 8 weeks grannted to the petitioner till 30.12.2025 by Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Tanda, District Hoshiarpur, vidde order dated 31.08.2025 to enable her proper post-operative treatmentt, rest and follow-up as per medical advvice.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted parole for 8 weeks from 31.10.2025 to 30.12.2025, vide order dated 31.08.2025, by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tanda, District Hoshiarpur – respondent No.2 on medical grounds. He further submits that the petitiooner has undergone Right DJ Stenting + DJ Stent Removal (Low end) unnder LA done on 22.12.2025 and anotherr surgery has been planned for Right PCNL + DJ Stenting. He submits that petitioner has already subbmitted representation dated 25.12.2025 (Annexure P-3) to the District Magistrate concerned for extension of parole for another eight weeks from 31.12.2025 to 02.03.2026, however, nothing has been conveyed to the petitioner about the saaid representation.

3. Notice of motion.

4. Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respoondents-State.

5. Without commenting upon the merits of the case, the same is disposed of only with a direction to respondent No.2 – District Magistrate, Hoshiarpur, that if any such representation, as indicated above, is inndeed pending consideration, thhat shall be considered and decided by passing a speaking order by 300.12.2025 and order will be conveyed too the petitioner forthwith.

6. Copy of this order be supplied to learned State counsel for onward transmission to the quarter concerned for necessary compliance.
