1. Heard learned counsels for petitioner and for the State ACB (Vigilance).

2. This application has been filed for regular bail to the petitioner in connection with ACB Ranchi PS Case No.19 of 2025 for the offence under sections 7(a) of Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018, pending in court of learned Special Judge, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Ranchi.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the allegations are made against the petitioner of demanding Rs.25,000/- from the informant and the allegations of recovery is also there of said amount. He next submits that the petitioner is in custody since  17.10.2025 and the charge sheet has been submitted. He next submits that he has got instruction that if the petitioner will be granted regular bail the petitioner will not tamper with any evidence.

4. Learned counsel for the respondent ACB opposes the prayer and submits that recovery of Rs.25,000/- is there from the possession of the petitioner.

5. Considering that the allegation is there against the petitioner of demanding money and recovery has also been made from the possession of the petitioner, however, charge sheet has been submitted and the petitioner is in custody since 17.10.2025 and it has been pointed out that if the petitioner will be granted regular bail, the petitioner will not tamper with any evidence.

6. In the attending facts and circumstances of the present case, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Ranchi, in connection with ACB Ranchi PS Case No.19 of 2025.
