Viney Mittal, J.@mdashPrayer made by the petitioner in the present petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to release the arrears of his salary pertaining to the period between December 31, 1999 to December 31, 2004 for 1 year 11 months and 23 days.
2. From the perusal of the record, we find that a legal notice dated May 28, 2006 Anenxure P-1 has already been issued which remains unresponded so far.
3. Consequently, without commenting upon the merits of the controversy, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to respondent No. 3-Executive Engineer (XEN) City Division, Karnal, District Karnal to take a final decision on the aforesaid legal notice (Annexure P-1) within a period of 3 months from the date a certified copy of this order is received by passing a detailed and speaking order.
4. Copy of the order be given dasti on payment of the usual charges.
