Surya Kant, J.@mdashPursuant to the order passed by this Court on 25.10.2010 and 24.01.2011, the Assistant Drugs Controller, Punjab, passed an order dated 21.03.2011, whereby the Petitioner has been granted relief in part.

2. Suffice is to say that the above stated order has treated the period of cancellation of Petitioner''s drugs license as a period of suspension which would necessarily mean that the Petitioner has been allowed to run the medical store but subject to prohibition to stock and sale the drugs formulations given in para 7 of the order, which reads as follows:

7. Hence the Petitioner is prohibited, to stock & sale the drugs formulations containing narcotics drugs namely Dextroprophoxyphene, Codeine, Diphenoxylate and psychotropic substances namely Nitrazepam, Pentazocin & Buprenorphine and their salts being widely misused as intoxicants, under wholesale drugs licenses No. 11555-OW & 11300-W as the firm is not maintaining records of these types of drugs as per rules.

3. In my considered view, the restraint order passed by the authorities is fair, just, reasonable and being in the larger public interest, it warrants no interference by the Appellate Authority or a Writ Court.

Disposed of.
