1. The petitioners are the parents of Suresh who was married to Sunita deceased. There are allegations that Suresh and the two petitioners were harassing Sunita and making demands from her and from her brothers. On June 10, 2001 Sunita''s brother took her back to Suresh with gifts worth Rs. 1000/ and asked Suresh to keep her. Sunita''s inlaws were not happy but Suresh and Sunita started living separately with Suresh''s brotherinlaw Ram Kumar at Bisla. Sunita died of poisoning on August 13, 2001 leading to the registration of the case against the petitioners and their son under Sections 304B and 498A IPC.

2. It is clear from the FIR itself that the petitioners lived at Prabhuwala (Hisar) while Sunita and Suresh had started living at Bisla (Fatehabad). Therefore, it appears that in the days immediately before her death Sunita may not have been subjected to direct harassment and cruelty at the hands of the petitioners.

3. Circumstances do not warrant further detention of the petitioners in custody. Bail to the satisfaction of CJM, Fatehabad.

Bail allowed.
