2. The petitioners have filed the instant petition u/s 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of order dated 25.07.2007 (Annexure P5)
of learned Special Judge, Sangrur whereby petitioners'' application for granting them exemption from personal appearance has been declined and
their application for discharge/dropping of proceedings has been kept pending till appearance of all the accused.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners pointed out that personal appearance of three co-accused of the petitioners has been exempted by this
Court vide order dated 08.01.2003 (Annexure Pl) passed in Criminal Misc. No. l0251-M of 2001.
4. Keeping in view all the circumstances, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction that the personal appearance of the petitioners, before
the learned Special Judge, Sangrur shall remain exempted till appearance of all the accused and further till the decision of petitioners'' application
for their discharge. The petitioners shall be at liberty to apply afresh for exemption of their personal appearance for period subsequent thereto, if
need be.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
