K. Kannan, J.@mdashThe appeal is against an award dismissing a claim for compensation in a case where the claimant had simple injuries. The
claimant must have undergone a trauma of an accident and that itself must have been taken as component for awarding some compensation. The
injuries are details in para 17 and they are reproduced as under:
1. Multiple Contusions of varying sizes present over the left upper forehead and left side of the left eye.
2. Multiple contusions of varying sizes present all over the dorsum of left hand. Advised X-ray.
3. Multiple contusions of varying sizes present all over the dorsum of right hand. Advised X-ray.
4. A laceration was present over the left patella.
5. Complaining of pain all over the chest.
6. Complaining of pain all over the entire back.
I would think a compensation of Rs. 5,000/- is just.
2. The appeal is allowed as above.
