1. This appeal is directed against an interlocutory order dated 27.11.2017 passed in WP(C) No.7071/2017 by the learned Single Judge of this High Court containing certain directions pertaining to registration of 1st semester students of the Government Engineering Colleges.

2. The impugned order shows that the next date of hearing before the learned Single Judge is fixed for 15.12.2017. It is also stated at the bar that the examination of the 1st semester, which was to commence from 29.11.2017, has been deferred due to administrative reasons.

3. Since the 1st semester examination of Government Engineering students has been postponed and the hearing of the writ petition is fixed for 15.12.2017, we are not inclined to interfere with the impugned order. We, however, request the learned Single Judge to decide the writ petition on an early date. However, we must mention here that Annexure-K of the writ petition reveals that Government Engineering Colleges of the State were affiliated to the All India Council for Technical Education from 4.8.2017.

4. With the above observation, the appeal stands finally disposed of.
