S.C. Dharmadhikari, J.@mdashBy this petition, the petitioner had sought higher pay scale specified in prayer Clause A of the petition. The petitioner is a Librarian and was at the relevant time posted at the Judges'' Library of this Court at Panaji, Goa Bench.

2. The petition was admitted and during its pendency, the petitioner has been granted the benefit of higher pay scale. Our attention is invited to the Government Resolution dated 08.03.06, copy of which is handed over by Shri Rivonkar, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondent Nos. 2 and 3.

3. The petitioner''s Advocate states that upon issuance of this Government Resolution, the claim of the petitioner for higher pay scale has been settled and the petitioner is satisfied with the same. Consequently, the controversy in the petition is rendered infructous on account of this subsequent development. Parties agree that the petition is rendered infructous and should be disposed off.

4. Petition disposed off as infructous. Rule discharged. No order as to costs. The copy of the GR is taken on record and marked ''X'' for identification .
